What is Remembrance Day? Why is it Important to Canadians? Should it be a National Holiday?

Each year on November 11, Canadians and many countries around the world, take time to reflect and remember the fallen soldier that fought bravely and courageously during the World Wars. What is Remembrance Day? Why is it important for all Canadians to reflect upon the great sacrifices that veterans made? Should November 11 be a national holiday for all Canadians to remember? What is your point of view?
Should Hallowe’en Move to the First Saturday after October 31?

In recent years, a strong conversation in many communities is to move the day of trick or treating to the first Saturday after October 31. Many people argue that parents are rushing from work, taking time from work, removing children from school in order to get ready for the big night. Some people say that the Saturday gives families more opportunity to have fun and celebrations and possibly having children trick or treat during day light hours providing a safer environment.
