Students in class have been learning about Terry Fox and the incredible run he tried to accomplish across Canada on one leg. Students in class have written some fantastic responses.

In class, students have discussed respect and how they would like students in the classroom to treat them.

Learning Goal: we will write an opinion about a topic and give details to support our answer.

Success Criteria:

• discuss in your group
• write a paragraph that is at least 6-8 sentences explaining your opinion
• sentences are well developed
• check for proper spelling and grammar
• peer edit your  work
• post on blog

Hello everyone and welcome to our class and blog! My name is Mr. Vella. I am excited to be a part of your child’s growth over the school year. The year will be busy and eventful. Our class blog will be a great place for you to stay informed with what is going on in the classroom.
