Students in class worked collaboratively to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding about fractions. Students completed a place mat activity to show their thinking to collectively compose one important idea to share with the class.

In class, we discussed the senseless act of violence that occurred during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. Our class wrote a message of condolence to the athletes, the people of Boston and their families. Our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
