The force of wind can have severe damage on our landscapes. On April 28, 2011, high winds gusting near or over 100km/hour swept through many communities. Below are two video’s. One is from the lake shore of downtown Toronto and the other is from Brockville Ontario.  After the disaster in Japan, our class has been discussing natural disasters and how they can impact people’s lives.

Learning Goal: We will create art which will use lines and patterns.

Success Criteria:

• Use only pencil
• Use different lines and patters
• Fill page with many examples
• Use a variety of lines and patterns to improve presentation

Learning Goal: Create a media poster that communicates kindness to an audience.

Sucess Criteria:

1) Draw your poster in pencil

2) Colour with pencil crayon neatly

3) Communicate a message about kindess to an audience using speach bubbles or phrases
